Delayed Menstruation
>> Friday, December 11, 2009
Delayed periods are interrupted menstrual period that abruptly stop after previous regular periods. Delayed periods are abnormal and may affect fertility. Pregnancy is the most common cause of such condition. The absence of periods may extend even after giving birth as breastfeeding mothers often experience the absence of periods, or amenorrhea, as well; how ever, ovulation may still occur and pregnancy is possible even without menstruation.
PATIENT ADVICE:
• Try to change your lifestyle by eating the right diet.
• Taking on moderate-not vigorous-workout regimen is also highly recommended.
• Learn how to reduce stress in your everyday life by trying to relax and rest every once and a while.
